I didn't forward it to our list, because translations are out of scope for our locoteam. Translations of the official languages used in Belgium are done by ubuntu-nl, ubuntu-fr & ubuntu-de, and we point Belgian users who want to help translating to those teams. If one of those locoteams would let me know that they are planning a translation jam, I'd happily forward that of course. In your case, I can imagine organising a jam to translate English into English isn't really useful ;) and I don't know if there is a large enough group who can help with e.g. Spanish translations?
