I'll have to agree with Steve here. I had never heard of ubuntero.org until I saw these guys congregating on the floor in their matching ubuntero.org tshirts. I spent some time hanging out with them and some time joining ubuntero.org and friending some people. >From meeting the guys and messing around with the site it's clear to me that there has been significant work put into the site, and that, like the rest of us, these guys love ubuntu and want to contribute to the community. I'm not sure if it's LoCo territory, but it's community territory. Clearly to 1000-some users "another meeting place" is filling a need. I think the right course of action is probably to look at integrating this with ubuntu's existing community resources. One of the developers (forgot which one) mentioned to me that they don't intend to replace anything, but glue it all together. I think that's a laudable goal.
