Hi Jono, All, Here in Durban, South Africa, our (ubuntu-za & LUG) current "active" focus is on building a sustainable Linux Lab team. We are about to undertake our first independent lab installation using Edubuntu.
This lab will consist of 21 seats and the number of challenges we are having to overcome are startling. Amongst the most vexing is the affordable availability of Internet Access. Essentially, we are lucky to even have access to a telephone at this school let alone any reliable Internet connectivity. William Kinghorn is spearheading this project and I will definitely encourage him to establish himself as the Education contact for ubuntu-za. Kindest Regards Craig A.
