Nick,I'm working on this merges. They look pretty good and I'm only going to tweak them a little.
One general question. You moved r2 out of the allocation list. Are you using a TOC on linux? If so, you may run into some issues with respect to use of the save TOC area in ABI linkage area and we should come to some compromise.
