I am going to have to echo Chris's sentiments on this one.  While I have
never tried USB-Ethernet devices with pfSense, I have tried them with many
other systems and software packages.  I have yet to see one that is
reliable (i.e. sustained > 1-day consistent throughput at any speed).  I
would be extremely hesitant to use these devices in a production system.
