The PER-C10L-A10-03 has a IntelĀ® 82541GI on-board, and it's supported in
FreeBSD as far back as the 4.x days,
so it should be fine in something based on a modern FreeBSD release, (such as
pfSense 2.0.1).

http://fxr.watson.org/fxr/source/dev/em/if_em_hw.c?v=FREEBSD4
  378     case E1000_DEV_ID_82541ER:
  379     case E1000_DEV_ID_82541GI:
  380     case E1000_DEV_ID_82541GI_LF:
  381     case E1000_DEV_ID_82541GI_MOBILE:
  382         hw->mac_type = em_82541_rev_2;
  383         break;
You'll want something more like FreeBSD 7.2 to support the one based on the
82551QM, thats when TOS off-loading got fixed.

I didn't investigate the Realtek chipsets, since most people dislike those.

The short answer is "Yes".

This says it comes with a "LAN cable":

It strikes me that if you only care about 10/100 Ethernet, you could also use a
USB - Ethernet adapter.
The Alix 2d3/2d13 have 3 10/100 Ethernets on-board, and 2 USB sockets present
on the outside of the case.
