I also have several friends who do so it is helpful for sending anything
sensitive.
As for mutt. Well...only the really smart people use it these days. ;-)
I usually use tbird on my work laptop but on my personal one, it's mutt,
offlineimap, msmtp and notmuch. I find it very helpful to download all
of my email and archive it. I despise webmail, but I'll tolerate it from
time to time.
I keep hearing that email is dead. But I've been hearing that for a decade.
