I can confirm that applying both this and "[PATCH] ARM: shmobile: compile
drivers/sh for CONFIG_ARCH_SHMOBILE_MULTI" makes

    rcar_thermal e61f0000.thermal: thermal sensor was broken

go away on Koelsch.
