If you open the tulip.c file you will find the
necessary command to compile it at the end of the
file. You can use it to make a module tulip.o and move
it to /lib/modules/<kernel ver>/net directory. You
don't need the whole kernel source, just the headers.
Thats it, next time when you boot or give the command
insmod/modprobe it will automatically take it.
