Hi all!

If you're looking for a decent Linux graphical file manager, you may wish
to check out pcmanfm-qt from the LXQt project:

https://github.com/lxde/pcmanfm-qt

My main use for a file manager is to drag multimedia files from it and drop
them into VLC. KDE 4's Konqueror has been my main tool of choice for that
for a long time, but Konqueror in KDE 5 is still unusable (here on Mageia
Linux Cauldron) and Dolphin has been suffering from this bug -
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295571 .

I didn't have a lot of luck with Thunar and pcmanfm (drag/drop there does
not work too well) but pcmanfm-qt seems nice. The only problem I'm facing
so far with pcmanfm-qt is that I cannot expand directories into sub-trees,
which can be mitigated to an extent using a middle mouse button click.

It still may prove useful to you.

Regards,
