Hello

I think (but I am not sure) that I have hared about a network over the electric network.
This means that you have the network already in your house.

They are slow, unreliable and create lots of interference to radio signals. Motorola had one called HomePlug, which was supposed to be used with their noninterfering BPL (broadband over powerline) system. The canceled the BPL because the comepting systems were so bad all were outlawed everywhere except the US, they may have canceled HomePlug too.

My next door neighbor has a different brand it makes radio reception here almost impossible, It's produces so much electrical noise, they can't even use WiFi. That's fine for me, it does not stop me from using WiFi, and helps keep others out of my networks.
