Hi,

I seen this behavior which is caused by ALSA configuration not being used by 
the flash player, make sure:

1) In /etc/firefox/firefoxrc
FIREFOX_DSP=”aoss”

2) /dev/dsp is there

if not
cd /dev
sudo ./MAKEDEV audio


These two solved it for me.
