Hi, Few months ago, I hosted a forum on a dedicated server. Things have changed, I'm not hosting the forum but the domain is still mine.
I'm getting a gazillion entries in my apache logs that people come to this forum, even if it's not there... So, I was thinking to use mod_rewrite, so any user who tries to access http://a.b.c/forum/something.php (or any URL with the "forum" word) would be redirected to a page which will state "page is not here" and we be redirected to the correct URL. Is there a simple mod for this? mod_rewrite seems like overblown for this. Any suggestions? Thanks, Hetz -- Skepticism is the lazy person's default position.
