I had FC1 and it got slow to the point of annoying. I played with services etc but got little success.
I actually liked FC1 and would still be using it if not for the slowness. I am using Xandros and on the same hardware/ram it has been much faster, at least until I started running tons of services. And even then it isn't as slow....
