Hi For my work I need the jre1.3.1.01 plug-in for connecting to several application. I've downloaded the RPM from the Sun site and installed it as the manual in the site specifies . I made the symbolic link and placed all the files in the respective locations , but when I try and connect to the site , mozilla doesn't recognize the plug-in and I fail to get access to the site.
I was able to work with mozilla 1.1 . I'm running MDK 9.1 (Kernel 2.4.22-23MDK) , and I tried to do update my system via the Mandrake Update feature , the update failed and after that I started to have this problem . I uninstalled both the jre and mozilla , and reinstalled them - with no success . Any thoughts ?
