From a user POV, open source drivers are infinitely better than closed source drivers, and closed source drivers are some what better than no drivers at all. > So what? You should also tell the vendor why you bought from them, and you should tell the other vendors why you didn't buy from them. That sends a clear message to vendors, that they *lose* *sale* because they don't release open source drivers. Idealistic? perhaps.
