On my system X runs on the mouse from /dev/gpmdata It has two bonuses: * on a trial-and-error setup method , testing a mouse with gpm is a shorter process * I can replace the mouse (even to a different mouse type, even a ps/2 mouse) without restarting X. I only need to restart gpm, which is /etc/init.d/gpm/restart -- Tzafrir Cohen mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.technion.ac.il/~tzafrir/ ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
