My suggestion to you is to do whatever the members of the JLC decide.
I usually use Linux because it is a shorter name and more marketish than
GNU/Linux (which some people would read as Gee-Enn-You-Slash-Lee-Nox ;-)).
I sometimes use GNU/Linux or the terms a GNU system as well. It depends on
the context really.

You can also call yourself the Jerusalem Free Software Club (JFSC) to
underscore you approve of FreeBSD and friends as well.

Note that I'm not aware of an intention of the Haifa Linux Club to change
its name to Haifa GNU/Linux Club. And we did have lectures on topic that
were not entirely related to Linux like Perl, the DMCA and friends,
promoting Linux, Lambda Calculus, and many others that are either UNIX in
general or free software in general.

Note that the Haifa Linux Club is usually abbreviated and referred to as
Haifux for short (pronounced either with an "Hey" or a "Het") and HLC is
not used at all. I call the Jerusalem Linux Club Jerusalux sometimes. ;-)

In any case, the important thing is to have regular lectures and
real-life events, and name changes will do little to help you. Haifux had
such for two weeks for several years now and we have a large queue at the
moment.

Just my 20 agoroth.
