How doesn't it work? What happens if you run pptp pns.inter.net.il? What is your /etc/ppp/options?
I checked the issue, and I DO SUCCEED to establish at least VPN connection. I can't establish PPP connection, as I haven't a username/password for Internet Zahav, so PPP authentication fails.

While I was wondering through the boot messages I saw it recognized my Ethernet Card (RealTek)
in both eth1 and eth0... Nevertheless, 'ifup eth1' can't find eth1 so I have to start it that way: 'ifconfig eth1 up'

In that installation, debian woody recognized both eth0 and eth1 as using my eth card.

I reinstalled debian today and it found only eth0 as the one responsible for my eth card.

My pap-secrets files is like that:

/username/ pns.inter.net.il /password/

The /etc/resolv.conf contain the default lines which are, the same as the ones writen in the
Mini-Howto.

After I connect, I can ping everything, but without watching any packets moving around. (That's include Zahav's DNS servers).
Pinging pns.inter.net.il returns answer (packets.) though.

I guess the main problem is on the routing table.

It used to happen frequently when they only started to provide Internet via the cable. Now, the service is pretty stable but disconnections here and there, but they are easily overcome.

Same here.
