Hi mnna4, You hit the nail on the head, MATAH is the problem, but it's not because they are anti-Linux per se. Go visit them. They're accross from TAU next to the Open U. They have a tremendous investment in Msoft technology in terms of both production tools and training. Also, many of the academic community who plan the content want to use features that Msoft offers that are not standard technologies in order to get maximum visual effect - things that you can't do in HTML or even in Java. We are a long, long way from providing the tools that they need to make cuting edge educational content. - yba > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Gilad Ben-Yossef" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Jonathan Ben Avraham" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: "Nadav Har'El" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "Ely Levy" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; "ILUG" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 2:10 PM > Subject: Re: Edu in linux > > > > On Thu, 2003-01-02 at 13:19, Jonathan Ben Avraham wrote: > > > > > home.
