To continue our women's-studies discussion, Reshet Bet's "Hakesher Ha'Israeli"
had late last night an interesting (in my opinion) interview with an Israeli
female programmer who has "made it", getting a masters degree at Stanford
and working for the last 3 years at Google. Apparently, she (her name is
Michal Luz-On) is the one we need to be thank for Google's support of Hebrew
searches.

In the interview she talks about the fascinating culture of working in
Google, how it is a 500-person company that makes money (makes me wonder
how exactly...), what it is like to be an Israeli living and working
abroad, and so on. She did not explicitly mention her being a woman, but it
is nevertheless nice to hear once in a while a successful woman's perspective
on her job and life in general.

If anyone is interested, the show is available online (Real Audio format):
in bet.iba.org.il choose "On Demand", then choose "Hakesher Ha'Israeli".
Move to time 13 minute 45 seconds in the stream for the beginning of the
aforementioned inteview; It lasts until 27 minutes 30 seconds. Sorry,
this interview is not deaf-accessible.
