First I have to appologize that I added the PTI link as a signiture I meant to add the perl.org.il but made a mistake. I know that any spammer would say the same so you will either accept it or not as you can't really see in my head.
My intention was to make the separation between my business involvement in Perl and the help I provide to the Perl community (if there is any help). On the other hand the fact that the sig. was there could be seen as a disclosure of my business interest in Perl. I don't expect this meeting to bring any business directly. What I do expect is that there will be a few people now (less than 10 ?) and more next time and one day we'll be able to get the Perl Mongers in the papers and we might be able to organize a YAPC::Israel. Then more people will want to use Perl and we'll have more business. Regarding payment: I meant that you pay what you eat/drink as we go to a restaurant or a pub. Or both. (As opposed to the free beer stuff) I see that it was not clear. The meeting is at 6 pm that is 18:00 and it is intended to people well into Perl. Of course people new to Perl are also welcome but there won't be any lectures. At least I have not planned any. No public annoncements regarding PTI, you talk to the people whom you like but if you talk to Reuven or me you can expect that we mention what we are doing. But you can expect also that we'll want to hear what are you doing ? Regarding the Agenda someone asked me in private. I have not planned anything except knowing each other but if someone comes up with an idea we can discuss it though I think it is better to do that off-list (or on the perl list). I also plan on bringing a few Perl books I bought and Reuven will bring the one he wrote. We'll also would like to talk about what needs to be done in order to get more people in Perl and/or to imporve the image of Perl in Israel. regards -- Gabor -- Gabor Szabo Perl User Group in Israel http://www.perl.org.il/ ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
