Geoffrey, I think this was really not called for. I don't know Gabor, but I do know Reuven Lerner (the other part of PTI) and judging from this guy's reputation in the Perl community I would highly doubt this evil marketing plot is the real story. I also don't think we should dis someone just for having a commercial interest in some Free Software activity. God knows I have enough of this myself and i think it's a GOOD THING that people make money from supporting Free Software projects like Perl and selling training is one very honest way to make money.
