01 usually means disk does not exist. Probably lilo tries to access
something on /dev/hdd. This is probably bios disk 0x81, but lilo thinks
it is something else. Please show your lilo.conf file. Also tell on
which partition is every directory listed in the file.
 
You might need to force setting such as 

disk = /dev/hdd
        bios = 0x81

or something similar.
