like Ury said, it's an NFS problem, and what he describes sounds too
close to a bug I had with ex2 and NFS with sun machines mounting, it may
be an nfsd bug and not in reiserfs.

anyway, if you run a cache server and your cache dir is accessed through
NFS, you have MUCH bigger problems.
