Somehow I have the feeling that full duplex Ethernet versus half duplex 
Ethernet is more a theoretical issue then a real life one. In particular, I 
would not have this issue got me too much busy with. I believe the 
Ethernet-HOWTO has a section about it.

I would start by verifying that the NICs are capable of 100MB. The NICs specs 
should tell you that. The next thing are the drivers. You have to verify that 
there are device drivers for 100MB for your NICs. The Ethernet-HOWTO discusses 
it.

That is all I can say about the subject. To summarize: start with the 
Ethernet-HOWTO.
