What do you mean by 10Half? Half duplex as if you can get 20Mbit/sec if it was full
duplex? Can you be more specific?
Perhaps giving some of the background of your question might help.
For a general info on Ethernet I would read the Ethenet-HOWTO + look at the resources
it mentions.
