More to the point, I think, is when will the relevant drivers become available and on what basis. I would expect a free download to replace all the Windoze software which isn't much help. (I sent them a query about this.) In the mean time, you can use the XFree86 SVGA server or buy the Metro Link package ($229) which already has a beta for the G400. I chose the latter. Like Adi (below), I use and respect the open software idea, but as a practicing programmer, I find the politics of open source far less interesting than solving the server problem and getting on with "the real stuff". Shabbat Shalom, Dan Feiglin P.S. Has anyone tried/succeeded in linking a Linux workstation to an AIX 4.3 system across NFS over a LAN? (You'd think that it's enough to RTFM and the rest is trivial ...)
