Hi,
My configuration is the following:
- HP Vectra model VEi8 with RedHat 6.0.
- This machine is claimed to have on board Matrox G200 AGP 2X.
- IIYAMA vision master pro21 (MT9021E) monitor.
I have tried almost all Matrox cards from xf86config settings as well as
additional Matrox models that are on the demo of the Xinsdie X server.
None worked for me.
- xf86config fails for every Matrox card it was configured. The system
stuck immediately
after X was started.
- Xconfigurator recognizes the card as Matrox G200 however the system
stuck immediately
after X was started.
- Xinside couldn't figure out automatically the card type and requested
manual settings.
I get a blank screen when I start X however ctl-alt-backspace regain
control.
Help please?
Has someone experienced with HP machine?
