Hi All
Im trying to compile a new kernel and get the next error after make
zImage ?
as86 -0 -a -o bootsect.o bootsect.s
make[1]: as86: Command not found
make[1]: *** [bootsect.o] Error 127
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot'
make: *** [zImage] Error 2
what is this as86 is it like as ? and where i can get it ?
i tried to do ln -s /usr/bin/as /usr/bin/as86 with no results :-(
