The stock buster kernel works but now the newer backports kernel?
A backports kernel is just a newer version of the stcok Debian
kernel. buster has kernel 4.19 buster-backports 5.6 currently.
It seems that the backports kernel now has problems at least with this
specific Dell Perc disk controller. Unfortunately it is beyond my
ability to debug it much further.
