We'd like to clarify the time at which daily water main work ends. We had been listing 4PM in our communications based on a standard 8-hour workday. However, we have routinely encountered subsurface conditions, such as ledge, that have slowed work considerably.
As the project cannot leave an open trench at the end of the day, the exact stoppage time cannot be guaranteed. We expect work to be completed each day typically between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM but encourage motorists to plan conservatively to allow for possible delays.
