Maybe Hanscom Area Town Selects rather than Hanscom ARE Town Selects? Also - can we please all just refrain from using acronyms on here without spelling them out? The practice of assuming everyone on Lincolntalk knows all local acronyms is off putting to newcomers, who should be made to feel welcome! Note that in your definition of one acronym you used two others. HAFB was obvious, but BRAC? In my life outside of Lincoln I have two uses of the acronym BRAC that I refer to with some regularity - BRAC USA which is a non profit that works to take people out of poverty, and BrAC - the Breath Alcohol Concentration test used to see if drivers are within safe levels. Perhaps you are referring to the federal Base Realignment and Cllosure program? That would make sense, but it has to Be said: not onvious unless you’ve been involved in Lincoln civic life for a period of time and are plugged into this kind of thing, which is a big assumption. We need to be inclusive here! Anne Warner - Sent from iPhone. Typed by thumb. Excuse misspellings!
