First of all, I know Rob Leikind, and he is an absolute TREAT. He's been central in combating antisemitism in New England K-12 schools, especially Massachusetts. I've never met Brandy or heard her speak, but I've heard good things. If you're interested in the challenges of defeating hatred in schools, this talk is for you.
There is another event tomorrow night that I also recommend. It's more focused on the Israel-Hamas war itself. Jonathan Conricus and Ysabella Hazan are speaking in Wellesley, moderated by Ira Stoll. - Conricus spent 24 years in the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat commander and as a spokesperson for the IDF. He recently retired as a Lt Colonel. He is now a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. - Hazan is an activist and writer, and the founder of Decolonized Judean, a movement for Jewish pride. - Stoll is a journalist and writer. He's written history books on both Samuel Adams and JFK. Event registration is here <https://afmda.org/event/wellesley-event/>. It's only in-person, though, not Zoom. You can't lose either way. Both are sure to be outstanding events. On Tue, Mar 4, 2025 at 8:08 PM S Brown <sdbr...@gmail.com> wrote: > March 6 Zoom Event - sponsored by Temple Emanuel in Newton.
