*Be a part of something unforgettable— **volunteers needed for Lincoln’s community gathering in June 2025!*
*Mark your calendars* for a historic community celebration on Saturday, June 14, 2025, commemorating 250 years of Lincoln’s history from the dawn of the American Revolution! Join us for a vibrant day of festivities featuring many of our town boards, committees, and community organizations sharing their history and contributions to Lincoln at a beautiful Town Fair. In addition to the fair, the Lincoln250 Celebrates Committee will host a feast under the tent, assorted musical acts, children’s games on the lawn, a variety of historic remembrances and a community photo to complete the day! Celebrate Lincoln’s rich history by joining us on Saturday, June 14th (rain date: June 15th) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Pierce House grounds! This historic gathering wouldn’t be possible without the help of amazing volunteers like you. If you’re available to assist with any of the tasks listed below, please let us know by clicking the link to fill out the Google Form:; https://forms.gle/4FBkS7gQoTed6DtbA. *Volunteer Roles:* *Leading up to the event:* · *Food/meal organization/food truck coordination* - Work with Public Safety to organize food prep, set up, purchase of items, and payment of food. Also, assist in the coordination of food trucks. · *Communication / Outreach* - Assist with the design and distribution of community communications , mailers and flyers. · *Charitable Giving* - Lincoln250 Cares! Determine how Charitable Giving can be embedded into this event. · *Decorating* - Creatively assist with planning for decorating theLincoln250 Fair and Feast. *Day of the event**:* · *Music* - Assist musicians along with stage set-up and tear down. · *Set-up* - Arrive early and help set up tables and chairs for all groups participating in the fair. Serve as a resource for our Town Boards/Committees and Community Organizations as they set up their tables. · *Kids' games / entertainment* - Harken back to Field Day to set up and coordinate traditional kids' games along with managing volunteers.
