Good afternoon, Lincoln! We have a unique opportunity (I hope) to fix a room I absolutely hate in our house. It is a cinder block room containing the organs of our home (HVAC, water heater, exposed piping, central vac). The flooring may be asbestos - our inspector when we bought wasn't sure - so we are hoping to have it encapsulated and covered when the HVAC unit comes out during a conversion to geothermal. It is fully intact, but it is also very old and unsightly. I would just really like to do this while we have access. I remember seeing folks leave new tile at the swap shed, only to have it go into the dumpster when it didn't leave immediately. I honestly don't care what color/style goes into this room - anything will be a major improvement. Even better if we can save something from the landfill. On that end - does anyone have 70 sq ft of tile or marmoleum click that they do not need? I'm happy to pay. I just realized last night as I was spending endless hours looking into this that I really don't want to spend a lot of time figuring out what might look great in there, because nothing is going to look great in there. Even better if I can save something from the landfill, and strike a bargain with someone who is staring at too many boxes of tile or Marmoleum that they do not need. (I'm not looking for anything vinyl or laminate wood; thank you!)
Cheers! Terry Kay
