Who cares about the roads, it is about putting electric planes in the air and shutting down the economy that Hanscom provides. See this impacts those of us over on the other side of town, they just care about how it impacts them on the other side of the tracks and the noisy planes that fly over once every month or two so they can virtue signal while John Kerry, Bill Gates, Taylor Swift and so many others jet around using airports just like Hanscom but also provide jobs and a military base relying on the surrounding communities. Difference is these fat cats pay money to offset their carbon usage in a carbon tax to make themselves feel better about the damage they have done, but not for the rest of us. My opinion is this will take awhile, most likely before winter but a lot of moving dirt and cleaning up to ensure they are meeting environmental, Federal and of course State regulations and the safety of those who work on the base. When has any Federal or State Government project ever come in on time and at cost of course. The intersection of Old Bedford Rd. and Hanscom Drive will be a more standard 4 way intersection instead of whatever you call what it was previously. At the same time, they are also constructing a new visitors center and search area and gate house. I thought it was supposed to be four or five months, but it feels like it's been longer than that.
