We are offering for free an upright Steinway piano that was built in 1902. It
plays and is tunable. In the short run, in order to hold tuning well, it would
need a process called "doping the block" that costs around $300.
To restore it to its original condition would cost ~$4-6,000.
To move it out of the house will require a rigging crane, so the move to your
house would cost ~$1400. (Price from Mike Griffen, a great piano mover.)
Any serious inquiries need to be received by March 15.
Kind regards,
Rainer
