Dear Lincoln community, Thank you so much to all of you who have contributed to the Afghan refugee family that we are hosting. There has been such a strong show of support, and the funds and items that have been donated will go a long way toward helping them get on their feet. Equally appreciated have been the friendly encounters and gestures of support from those we have met along the way. The family, and we, are incredibly grateful. We feel so fortunate to be part of this cohesive and caring community - it is quite special.
If you have not yet donated and would still like to, the link to the fundraiser is here: https://gofund.me/73468e8b Also, we will likely all be at the Codman and Lincoln town Halloween community events tomorrow afternoon, if you see us please feel free to stop by and say hello! The family is enjoying meeting members of the community.
