Can anybody recommend a shop that you have had fix your "vintage"
tube-based audio equipment and been satisfied with?

I have a 55 year old McIntosh audio system that needs repair. Amp,
preamp, and tuner. 30 years ago you could send it to Binghamton but
apparently they don't fix them in house any more. Their recommended
local repair company (Atlantic Systems in Hanover) didn't fix my
system and didn't refund my money. So I want a personal reference,
not a web search or a reference from a company web site. "I sent Bill
a pile of crushed glass and he lovingly reworked it into a vacuum
tube." That sort of thing.
