I've downloaded 2.17.27 and ran convert-ly against the original file from Torsten: No problem! Though, the terminal returns: " convert-ly (GNU LilyPond) 2.17.27 convert-ly: Processing `LilyJAZZ.ily'... Applying conversion: 2.17.0, 2.17.4, 2.17.5, 2.17.6, 2.17.11, 2.17.14, 2.17.15, 2.17.18, 2.17.19, 2.17.20, 2.17.25, 2.17.27 Not smart enough to convert staff-padding. Staff-padding now controls the distance to the baseline, not the nearest point.
