At http://www.lilypond.org/doc/v2.16/Documentation/notation/creating-footnotes, it says that lyrics are events that can have footnotes attached to them, but I can't figure out how to do this--when I use the "\footnote offset footnote music" formula within a lyricmode block I get an "unexpected LYRICS_STRING" error. Can someone clarify?
