Placing the red line at the coordinates you use to center the note column, and at the average of these coordinates--I altered your log display--it looks to me like you are truly using the point dead center between the right of the left bound (KeyCancellation) and the left of the right bound (Clef). It looks as though it is the multi-measure rest which is a little bit left-of-center here, but I don't know how the position of the multi-measure rest is reckoned.
