Since having great success in getting an answer for my last question to the list, here's another:
In a grace note sequence such as \grace { \small g32[ e8 d32] }, the gap between the stem of the e8 and the beams of the 32 notes is very small. Is there a tweak to increase this gap somewhat? I already tried the obvious \override Score.Beam #'gap, but it appears like that is only used for tremolo beams. Or perhaps it doesn't work with grace notes.
