for practice purpose i am copying some excerpt from the Beethoven 5th symphony. It contains a chord where the duration of the top notes is longer than the others. (see attached) According to the documentation, that does not seem possible since it says: ... [duration] must go /outside/ the angle brackets.
I checked the following doc pages: and the LSR and could not find an example of a chord with notes of different duration.
I found a workaround to tie the top note with a note outside the chord but i'd like to see if there is a way to obtain the same display as in the attachment.
