You are absolutaly right, and I would say even more: You don't have to worry
about atualization, system configuration, OS compatibility (and it runs much
more smoothely in windows).
It remainds me how TAB by mail works:

I was realy impressed with this project despite those security problems you
are talking about, wich is greek for me ;)
