I believe that
c16 c c8 c c -> c16[ c c8] c[ c] is handled automatically right now.
However
c8 c c16 c c8 -> c8[ c] c16[ c c8] is *not* handled automatically right now.
To do this properly will require a recursive sort of check for autobeaming
when the shortest duration in a potential beam is changed.
It's still on my to-do list, and I'm thinking about it, but I haven't got it
figured out yet.
