Or set the Fingering's priority lower than the Script's.  ;)

If a script doesn't have a default in script.scm, the engraver
allocates it a priority starting at zero, so a negative value for the fingering will produce the same result without having to use \tweak.

This is much better than \tweak of course, as one \override can
be used for the whole voice.
