Wikipedia lists his date of death as 28 Dec 1937, so his music will go out of copyright in most of the world on 1 January 2008.
To be extra safe, you should stick to music first published before 1923 to ensure that it is out of copyright in the USA. See the Wikipedia Public Domain page for more info:
