Roland,

Very cool idea. I can just tap out a couple of hundred random notes and the
score is generated for me.
This is great immediate gratification for a typical American but I'm afraid
I have
 be  a "purist" in this sense and keep with learning lily pond code.
But this GUI you've got is "spot-on" my problem.
